Body Movement & Clean Eating
I know that your energy might be low sometimes and it’s difficult to get through your regular routine, but exercising can be very beneficial to improving autoimmune diseases and chronic illnesses. I’m not talking about running a marathon or anything like that. I will help you to find the right balance that will help you to improve, but won’t overstimulate you. Of course there will be days when you just can’t do anything. That’s okay. I’ll be there for you when you do have a little more energy to move your body. It’s all about listening to your body and taking one step at a time.

Almost everyone with an autoimmune disease has intestinal permeability. This means that the lining in your small intestine has been eroded by toxins, infections, gluten or other inflammatory foods and food proteins are in your blood stream that aren’t supposed to be there. Because the food proteins are foreigners in your blood stream, your immune system attacks them and that is usually how autoimmunity begins. I will help you to identify which foods could be triggering your autoimmune response.
The other aspect of clean eating is the quality of the food we eat. Our food is what fuels us and has a direct impact on our blood, our cells and organs so we want to give ourselves the best!
My definition of clean eating is eating real food with minimal toxins. In other words eating an organic diet without genetically modified organisms. “Real food” is food that our ancestors ate – the food that you find in nature, not the stuff that comes in boxes, bags and cans.
This is the END goal. It took me years to get here and I don’t eat like this 100% of the time. It’s a process. If you’re eating a conventional diet of processed foods, you’re in the right place because I’ll teach you how to slowly transition to a clean diet, give you tips for saving money (because unfortunately clean eating costs more) and delicious recipes to enjoy your ride!
